Another Friday, another shot of Elasti-Girl. This one is from the original edition of
Who's Who Volume VII. John Byrne provided the art and gives us a very nice, wholesome Rita Farr. I would have loved to have seen Byrne given free reign to draw the Doom Patrol around this time. When he updated the DP in 2004, I think something was lost in translation. That's not to say his stuff was bad, I'm just saying it was a DIFFERENT Doom Patrol.

Here's the Paris Cullins rendered cover. Rita is in her 50-foot phase so she wouldn't get lost in the group shot.

These covers were nothing but fun - or a continuity expert's absolute worst nightmare.
