Episode 96: One of Three Things You’re Not Supposed to Discuss at a Party OR Covfefe, Anyone?

Didn't I just post one of these?

Anyway, better too many than too few, right? Mike and Paul got together again, this time to talk about DC Universe Decisions. Here's the rundown on the episode.

They say you shouldn't discuss sex, religion or politics at a party. Yet we've already kind of ventured into one of those (thanks Rachel Pollack), so let's keep breaking social norms at this Doom Patrol party because a Doom Patrol party don't stop unless of course you bring up politics.... err, I mean...LETS GET PATROLLING!
Down on Derington Way - 7:00
Doom Clock - 9:48
Doomsplaining - 14:00 - This week we take a look at the 'DC Universe Decisions' miniseries from 2008, written Bill Willingham and Judd Winick, with art by Rick Leonardi and Howard Porter.
Mailbag O Doom - 35:14 - We read your responses to the question, "Which fictional character would you want running your country?"

So here's the images of this week's masterwork, courtesy of Mr. Hix himself.

Robotman disguised as Manman.

Take a drink.

Keep drinking.

Remember when the JLA disappeared for a bit? This would have made for a solid replacement team.

Jericho!

The green animal constructs had me thinking Beast Boy, but not so much.

Fifth richest man in the world is also a bike courier.

Me too.

And, while we're talking about political stuff, doesn't covfefe seem like something that happened in Doom Patrol?

Derington Way

As the guys mentioned, here's the post of the Chief peeking in on you.

And, as also mentioned, Brick by Brick is out That's right, the first Young Animal trade of the Doom Patrol's adventures is waiting for you to pick it up. And it has some lovely extras, like more Who's Who pages.

Updated!

And, if you're ordering it, you might want to pre-order The Silver Age Doom Patrol Omnibus. I'm not sure if this is the final art, but I dig it.

I presume, given his recent run on these Silver Age covers, that this is the work of Michael Cho. If you can confirm or correct, please do.

Here's your Question of the Week:

Who is your fave character that hangs out with a team, but is not in the team?

As mentioned elsewhere, there are MANY correct answers. Terry Long is NOT one of them.
