Glad I found the blog before the new series started (which will no doubt bring in enough comments to give you breathing time between posts). Just before Comic-con I got a flahback to the Morrison DP courtesy of Craig Ferguson. The late night host regularly appears as Aquaman (in 1960's-1970's costume and working as an advice columnist), but those are pretty much throwaway gags. What left me speechless was his tribute to the 40th anniversary of the moon landing: Craig, surrounded by hand puppets and staff members dressed in tin-foil outfits, all lip-synching the ENTIRE theme song to 'Fireball XL-5', a la Mr. Nobody, c.1990! Now, I realize Ferguson's childhood in Scotland must have more to do with selecting that particular number, but still... Anyway, the whole segment's on youtube-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DptWrNc9CKg
And any completely new reader can get a good chronology of appearances at: http://www.dcuguide.com/Who/D.php which also has separate listings for individual characters. It's not perfect, but there's plenty for any novice recently into Doom Patrol. Presumably this site is where the experts will chime in the tidbits others have forgotten (or never noticed). Good luck!
